Hot Water Temperature Maintenance Heat Trace System

HWAT-Residential.jpgPentair Thermal Management has a residential domestic hot water temperature maintenance (HWAT) system that provides immediate hot water at the tap. The HWAT system:

  • Maintains residential domestic hot water at approximately 125°F
  • Is installed directly on the supply piping
  • Can be run as close to the fixture as required, reducing the waiting time for hot water
  • Dramatically cuts the “time-to-tap” for hot water at low-flow fixtures

The Raychem hot water temperature maintenance (HWAT) system consists of:

  • Electric heat trace cables — the Raychem heat trace cables adjust their power output along the entire length of the pipe to compensate for variations in water temperature and ambient temperature
  • Connection kits and accessories — items for making electrical connections and properly completing the installation, such as the RayClic power connection, tee, splice, and end-seal kits
